sou um apaixonado pelo Rock n' Roll. Dentro deste estilo de música, sou bem eclético... porém os mais 'pesados' me atraem mais.
Outro dia esbarrei em uma música de uma banda de Hard Rock, System of a Down, com o sugestivo nome de 'Science'. Por motivos óbvios, comecei a prestar atenção na letra. E, para minha surpresa, a música detona os avanços científicos da humanidade, pois (segundo eles) estes desconsideram o sobrenatural.
Considerando que a banda é composta por ateus declarados, aliado ao fato de que a maioria das religiões tradicionais encontram-se em crises profundas, talvez a mensagem da música seja a ironia: será que onde lê-se Science, não seria Religion? Ou será que a ciência realmente negligencia a fé?
Pessoalmente, neste contexto, só consigo chegar a uma conclusão:
- Ciência e Religião são fenômenos humanos e estão sujeitos as qualidades e defeitos de nossa espécie.
