A post-doctoral position is
open in the Laboratory of Immunoparasitology, School of Medicine of Ribeirão
Preto, University of São Paulo, Brazil. Activities are linked to a Thematic
Research Project of the funding agency FAPESP entitled "Modulation of
lymphocytes differentiation in infection by protozoa, fungus and bacteria"
(Process 12/14524-9; Field of knowledge: Immunology).
We are seeking a highly
motivated young PhD with knowledge in the field of immunology, as well as
competence in animal models of Paracoccidioides brasiliensis infection,
cell and fungal culture, cell cytometry, Real Time PCR, and ELISA.
We aim to identify the role of ST2 receptor in mice infected with P. brasiliensis yeast cells.

This opportunity is open to
candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's
Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6,143.40 (around 2,600 USD)
