Post-doctoral position available

A postdoctoral position is available at the Biochemistry and Immunology Department, Ribeirao Preto Medical School from the University of Sao Paulo (FMRP-USP), Ribeirao Preto, Brazil. We are seeking applicants who are exceptionally motivated, innovative, that can work independently within a collaborative team setting. Prior experience in cellular immunology techniques and bioinformatics will be valued. Applicants must have PhD and knowledge in Immunology and/or Infectious Diseases.

Title of the project: Control of the immune response in infections with Leishmania or Trypanosoma cruzi

Leading researcher: João Santana da Silva

Candidates should initiate studies in Brazil and can subsequently integrate the project with other institutions outside of Brazil.

Fellowship stipend: ~US$ 30,000.00/year (tax free) provided by FAPESP.
